Christmas Chains

We got a little bit of a late start, but tonight the kids finally made their Christmas chains.  This is honestly one of my very favorite memories from my childhood.  My best friend Julie used to come over every year and make a chain with us.  When we started, Finn wasn't interested at all.  He really just wanted a snack.

 

He snuck off to Kevin's office and scored some chips.

 

Well Reese couldn't stand to be out done so she got in on the action.

On another note, it is currently sleeting outside.  We were supposed to go to the Jimmy Buffett concert with Scott and Julie, but the weather is just too unpredictable.  We made the very sad decision to sit it out and stay in our warm, safe homes.  I'm really sad to miss the concert, but sure enjoyed my night at home with the kids!
