Last Night As A One Year Old

Tonight as Kevin and I were putting the kids to bed, I got emotional.  Tonight is Finn's last night as a one year old.  Tomorrow he turns TWO.  I know it sounds silly, but it makes me sad.  It is awesome watching him grow and become more independent, but it is hard for a mommy to know that she isn't "needed" as much anymore.  I love taking care of my babies and sometimes their independence makes that hard.  Okay okay enough!  I know....but it's hard. 

I was in with Reese as Kevin was rocking Finn.  All the sudden I realized that I needed one last picture of Finn before he turns two.  So...I put Kevin in charge.  Let me say that Finn is impossible to take pictures of...I really think he makes it hard on purpose!  Anyway, here are two pictures from his last night as a one year old.

Finnegan, I'll love you for ever, I'll like you for always.  As long as I'm living my baby you'll be!  Sweet dreams my one year old boy!
