No Rest For The Weary

Man!!  Today was busy, busy!  We started the morning at Reese's soccer game.  Reese has really started playing well and understands the game so much better!  She is always excited to play!  Today, she was quiet the star and she had a huge cheering squad!  Reese's "posse" included me, Kevin, Finn, Mimi, Papa, Uncle Scott, Abram, Alexis, and Brian and Julie (our neighbors)....seriously, 10 people!!  She is one lucky to girl to have so many people that love and support her!  She played her heart out and scored FOUR goals!  After each one, she would run to the side line and high five all of us.  It was really cute!

One skill we need to work on is her throw ins...she would pick the ball up, throw it at her feet, and then run off with it.  It was hilarious!  She was actually pretty successful with that strategy, however it isn't the best teamwork.

After Reese's game, the entire family went and ate lunch at the Brook.  We also watched the OSU vs. Iowa State game.  Lunch was yummy and the kids did well!

Next up was rehearsals for the Nutcracker.  Followed by the Halloween party at Cedar Ridge.  We met up with family and friends at CRCC and had a blast!!

Scott and Julie were so festive!  I love that they dressed up!

Caroline as Peter Pan

Alexis the Lollipop Princess

Warner the Zookeeper

Finn the scarecrow, sans hat.

Finn ADORES Abram!

So sweet watching these two boys!  Finn calls Abram "Abe-y" and he says it over and over and over!

Reese the witch

Throwing a fit after a long day!

A failed attempt at a group photo!  Allie and Morgan were the cutest Minnie's in town!

The balloon artist made Scott some lips to help him pucker up!

Mimi and Papa

The balloon artist was a little nutty!  He complimented Kevin on what a good job we had done with our first two children.  He then made Kevin a pregnant poodle balloon and told him it was time to work on a third?!  Nothing says Happy Halloween like a pregnant poodle balloon animal!

The night ended with a hayride.  Turns out it was pretty spooky....oops!  Everyone had a great time regardless!
