This is my Body

Today was an action packed day!  We started the morning at church.  But due to an "accident" that Toby had we were too late for our church.  We ended up attending mass at St. Mary's.  We've never been there as a family, but really enjoyed the mass.  Reese even got to leave for the children's scripture readings.  And during the consecration, Finn put on a show we won't soon forget.  We were in the cry room and he was sitting on this step.  The priest lifted the Eucharist and said "this is my body".  This is a very sacred and quiet time during the mass.  Well, all the sudden Finn full on starts repeating him and rolling around saying "this is my body, this is my body".  It was hilarious!  Not very pious, but super funny!  It reminded me a tad of Fabio :)

After lunch we went to brunch at The Alley.  For an appetizer we ordered their "table cake" which is a HUGE pancake.  The kids loved it!  We almost ate the entire thing!
Then in the afternoon, I had an open house and Kevin took Reese to a birthday party.  Mimi came to stay with Finn.  Once we were all home, we went to pick up our remaining items from the Just Between Friends Sale.  I took 273 items and only had 29 left so we were pretty pleased!  Then it was off to dinner, quick baths, and bed time for the kids.

My parents gave Finn the Hug Me Elmo for Christmas.  He has enjoyed carrying it around and hugging it, but because we are slacker parents, we didn't put batteries in it until yesterday.  Well, now that Elmo talks Finn is terrified of it!  He is such a stinker!  Anyway, this evening after the kids were down we looked over and found Toby all snuggled up with Elmo!  I'm glad someone is giving him love :)
