1. We eat pizza every Friday night. This tradition started over 20 years ago. My parents met some families from our church that had kids close in age to my brother and me. There were several families that would meet up on Friday nights at Vito's in Broken Arrow. Vito's was SO fun because there was an arcade that the kids could play in. We would stay for at least two hours every Friday. When Vito's closed, the crew moved on to Mario's. Mario's pizza is WAY better. Anyway, the kids are all grown, but the parents still go every week.
2. We go eat bagels every Sunday after church. Again, this tradition started years and years ago.
Kevin thought that we were boring and didn't understand why we never wanted "change". Well, now he has started a similar tradition. Every Sunday after church we now go eat at the Blue Dome Diner. The food honestly rocks! We have been going for so long now that we know most of the staff and most of them know our order by heart. Reese gets extra special treatment (chocolate milk as soon as we enter the building and a fruit cup to snack on while we wait on our order). On weekends that we aren't able to go for some reason, Kevin gets the shakes. So, now he understands...it is nice to have some "habits" as a family. I know that I have several wonderful memories of going to pizza and bagels while growing up.
Papa, Reese, and Mimi went on a walk after brunch.
I love this picture!
