So Saturday we loaded up the wagon and decided to head downtown. Mimi decided to join us for some fun. We thought it would be nice to get out and walk around with Reese....I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had an entire KidZone....who knew?!
Anyway, here are some of the highlights of how the Launchbaugh's do Mayfest!
Reese colored a bear. It was part of the booth that St. Francis set up. It was really neat. First you colored the bear, then you named it, then you bandaged it's boo-boo, and then you got a bottle to feed the bear. It was a very informative and fun way to talk to children about hospitals and medical care.

Next stop was to get a bracelet and tattoo at the Library's tent.

After finishing all the activities in the KidZone, we decided to walk through the vendor area. Reese was not thrilled about being in her wagon since she had just had a "taste" of freedom in the kids area. So, being the super responsible parents that we are we decided to bribe her with cotton candy. She had never had any so we thought that she would stay seated and gobble it up. Well...

And since the bribe didn't work, she ended up "escaping" from the confines of her wagon! She insisted on carrying these bags around.

Overall we had a really fun time! It was just a little different of a May Fest experience then I remember from my younger days :)
