Grandparents Day

Today was Grandparents Day at Reese's school.  Reese is lucky enough to have three sets of grandparents that love and adore her, but only one set lives here.  Reese doesn't typically go to school on Thursdays so Mimi and Papa came to get her for their "date".  Reese loves when she gets to ride in Mimi's car!

Today was also Reese's first day of her fall dance classes.  This fall she is taking a combination ballet and tap class.  She is REALLY excited about tap!  She has been talking about it for weeks.

When we got to Miss Shelly's I wasn't exactly sure how the combo class would be structured.  I let Reese wear her leopard flats (which she is OBSESSED with right now) into the building.  Miss Raegan came out and told the girls to put on their ballet shoes.  You could just see Reese deflate...shoulders slumped, pouty face, head hung low.  The good news was that they switched shoes half way through class so Reese ended on a good note!  I have to admit that when the mommies in the waiting area starting hearing little tap sounds come from the room we all got really excited and ran to the windows to peek in :)

 

After Reese's nap today she went over to play with Allie.  She just loves Allie....and Allie is sweet enough to put up with Reese!  They ended up joining up with Kendra and coming over to our house to play with side walk chalk.  Here is their creation...
